Tommy Scullion collection. A grocery deliveryman that spent more than half a century collecting 40,000 signatures from anyone who caught his eye as he scanned the newspapers and magazines. They included Popes, presidents, royalty, criminals and Nobel prize winners as well as more obscure figures such as Kim Phuc, the iconic nine-year-old girl pictured running naked from a napalm attack in Vietnam. His method was to write in beautiful calligraphy to those whose autographs he sought, use his charm to "stroke their egos" and wait for the reply.
